Reddit intelligence, briefed.

Reddit is where people say what they actually think about products — but reading it takes hours. RedditAsk puts an AI research team on it: pick your subreddits, get a cited intelligence brief in under a minute, and interrogate the details in chat.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Point it at Reddit

Pick up to 6 subreddits and optional keywords — your market, your competitors, your product category.

  2. 2

    Get a cited brief

A team of AI agents reads the live threads and returns an intelligence brief: TL;DR, pain points, switching intent, feature requests, trends and suggested actions — every claim linked to its thread.

  3. 3

    Ask follow-ups

The Ask panel is a live agent with Reddit tools. Question anything — it fetches real threads, cites them, remembers the conversation, and suggests your next question.

  4. 4

    Make it yours

Connect your Reddit account (read-only) to raise limits, then add your own AI key — Claude, OpenAI, Gemini or Grok — for unlimited use on the model you choose.

Want your own model doing the analysis? See the model setup guides.

Frequently asked questions

Is RedditAsk free?

Every visitor gets a free trial: 5 briefs and 5 chat answers, no signup. Connect your Reddit account (read-only, one click) and you get 10 briefs + 10 chats per day on our included AI. Add your own AI provider key and there are no caps at all — you pay your provider directly, typically pennies per brief.

What exactly is in a brief?

A TL;DR, 3–6 findings grouped as pain points / switching intent / feature requests / trends, each with linked source threads, plus notable threads worth reading and concrete suggested actions. It's built for operators: specifics and numbers, not vibes.

Where does the Reddit data come from?

Live from Reddit's API through an approved OAuth integration. When you connect your own Reddit account we read with your access — read-only; we can never post, vote, or message as you.

Why connect my Reddit account?

It's RedditAsk's sign-in. Your account anchors your history, your saved AI keys and your limits — reconnect from any device and everything is right there. The authorization is read-only identity + reading.

Are my AI API keys safe?

Keys are validated with one live call, encrypted at rest, and write-only — never displayed again in full, never logged, never returned by any API. You see only a masked hint, and you can remove a key at any moment.

Which AI models can I use?

Claude (recommended), OpenAI, Gemini and Grok — switch any time in Model Settings. Each provider has a step-by-step setup page under Models, including what it costs and which model to pick.

Do you store my Reddit password?

Never — connection happens on Reddit's own authorization page (OAuth). We receive a revocable token limited to identity and reading, and you can disconnect from inside RedditAsk whenever you like.

Can I get briefs out of the app?

Yes — every brief can be previewed and downloaded as Markdown or a formatted PDF, and connected users can save an email address and send any brief to their inbox in one click.
